Mother's Day.

I've always been a believer that a child becomes a child at conception (no, I'm not going to get into a pro-life debate here.) So, that being said, I'm technically a mother. So yesterday was technically my first Mother's Day. I was not expecting anything (or any real acknowledgement since no one knows yet), but the thought had crossed my mind. Well, it crossed the husband's mind as well because he surprised me with a Happy Mother's Day cookie cake for breakfast :) I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm a lucky girl.

Side note: partial relief came on Friday when I broke down and finally let the secret out to my sister. She also got me a little something for M-Day. Her excitement was exactly what I was expecting and is exactly what I need to push me through these next few days. T-minus 3 days.... :)
