Our first family Halloween was a success! The day was filled with pumpkin-carving (talk about last minute....), trick-or-treating, and candy-eating (by all 3 of us!) It was a best-explained-in-photos kinda day, so here ya go!
"You mean I get to put my hands in here and just play?"
Shortly after this was taken, she tried to eat the seeds. (Bet you didn't see that one coming...)
Our incredibly adorable Dorothy, in a very rare Toto-holding moment (she was NOT a fan.) Check out Brooke's pumpkin on the left, complete with a bow & her patented "O" mouth.
Halloween is so much more fun with your very own trick-or-treater! (A little blurry, but look how excited she is!)
Stopping at the first house with Brooke's cousin Owen. It was the first of 3 total houses, not too shabby for her first time.
Guess who likes Dum-Dums? It immediately went in her mouth when our neighbor handed it to her, so I just took the wrapper off and let her go for it. She sucked this thing all the way to the stick and got really angry if we tried to take it away from her!
Brooke's favorite part of Halloween was unloading the candy bowl and spreading candy around the room. This made it a fun game for Mommy when actual trick-or-treaters came to the door!
Hope your Halloween was as delightful as ours was!
